Dr. Oluwanbepelumi Esther Olanubi is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Kingsgate Advisors Institute. She is a seasoned Economist with outstanding academic and professional experience in Macroeconomics, International Economics, and Development Economics. She is passionate about nation-building through innovative thinking, thought-driven, and evidence-based research. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. During her PhD, She won a thesis award grant from the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) in 2019.
Dr Olanubi is a Full Member of the Nigerian Economic Society (NES) and an Associate Member of the Nigerian Association of Macroeconomic Modellers (NAMM).
Oluwanbepelumi is a Non-Residential Economic Research Fellow with the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG). She is also an Economic Consultant and has consulted for companies like Stears Business and VerivAfrica. She is competent in macroeconomic modelling, econometric analysis, policy research, and economic analysis. She previously served as a Technical Assistant to a member of the Presidential Economic Advisory Council of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from 2020 to 2022. Additionally, she worked as a Senior Economist at one of Nigeria’s foremost financial Advisory firms, Financial Derivatives Company.
Over the past nine years, Oluwanbepelumi has co-authored and published several academic papers in reputable international journals and has attended and presented at local and international conferences. She also regularly shares her insights and perspectives on National Television, discussing pressing global and domestic economic issues.
