Sijuola Olanubi is the Co-Founder and Director of Kingsgate Advisors Institute. He is a Policy Entrepreneur and Economist passionate about providing innovative solutions to the critical challenges of our time. Sijuola is particularly concerned about how innovative approaches to policy modelling and analysis can be applied to inform better decision making by governments, the private sector, international bilateral and multilateral organizations and other actors at the local, national, and international levels. He has a combined 10 years of experience in economic research, management consultancy and policy research and advocacy. Sijuola has published articles in leading journals such as the Journal of Policy Modeling and the Journal of Economic Asymmetries. He currently serves as Acting Head, Think Tank Operations at Nigeria’s foremost Economic Think Tank, the Nigerian Economic Summit Group. In this role, he provides oversight to the policy platforms and thematic working groups of the organization through which it drives its mission of engendering reforms in the Nigerian Economy.
Sijuola holds a Bachelors in Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. He also holds a MicroMasters in Data, Economics and Development Policy (DEDP) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Masters in Development Economics from the Open University of Tanzania.
